Corporate Contracting Members agree to sign up to a Code of Practice (CoP).  The regulations are making it more and more important that a client ensures that he employs a contractor competent in health and safety to carry out any building work. Many clients find it difficult to asses the health and safety competence of a contractor and so to help Ridba Contracting Corporate Members have agreed to sign up each year to a Code of Practice.

If a client uses a non-member contractor they will have the responsibility to check that the contractor is competent in health and safety.
