Increased Business Opportunities – RIDBA allows you to stay ahead of the competition by offering free promotion within the RIDBA Journal. With over 1,000 subscribers including architects, surveyors, engineers and designers, it is the most circulated magazine within the agricultural and industrial building industry and will raise your company profile.

Information – RIDBA provides access to free advice from the RIDBA Technical Consultant, a qualified structural engineer, and issues a monthly e-newsletter helping members to keep up-to-date with developments and standards.

Discounted Services – RIDBA supports its members by providing a number of free helplines on employment, health and safety, contracts and general business advice.

A Better Industry – RIDBA provides a strong collective industry voice representing the rural and industrial buildings industry on committees such as HSE, BSI ACR etc. RIDBA is also a member of Build UK, which brings together the building supply chain in the UK.

Networking – RIDBA holds regular meetings throughout the year to encourage collaborative working across the sector, discuss key issues, improve services and promote best practice. The biannual RIDBA Building Awards recognises and rewards contractors for designing innovative and sustainable farm buildings and this year RIDBA is held a Gala Dinner to celebrate 60 years within the industry.

Membership

There are six categories of RIDBA membership:

Corporate Members - Frame manufacturers

Associate Members - Non frame manufacturers and suppliers to Corporate Members

College Members - Universities, colleges and training providers

Individual Members - Individuals Only

Concessionary Members - Students or retired individuals

Honorary Members - Individuals who have been granted honorary membership

Code of Practice

Contracting corporate members are required to demonstrate that they meet the RIDBA criteria for membership as set out in the Code of Practice. All applications should be made using the RIDBA Application Form for Membership submitted with the required supporting documentation.

Applications will be considered by the RIDBA Board whose decision will be final.
