The programme for RIDBA's upcoming Industry Day has been revelaed.
Held in partnership with Trimble, the RIBDA Industry Day 2024 will take place at the supplier member's base in Leeds on Thursday, April 18.
There will be live demonstrations and presentations focused around the theme of the day which is embracing technology.
- Tata Steel’s digital and innovation lead Alex Steel will speak on the subject of shaping the future of construction;
- Some of Trimble’s partners will highlight the latest tools and tech which you could be using in your business;
- Chris Blunt from Blunt Security will assess whether AI and digital platforms will increase cyber-attacks;
- On-site activities with a BuildingPoint Trimble hardware demonstration and a Leeds Finning CAT/Sitech machine control demo.
There will also be industry updates and opportunities for you to network.
A Trimble spokesperson said: "Trimble will be showcasing a variety of solutions, with emphasis on how to connect processes between estimating, project, procurement and fabrication teams into a centralised hub.
"A variety of Trimble's trusted technology partners will also run demos throughout the day and members will have a chance to get hands on with construction robots such as SPOT the robotic dog and HP's SitePrint robotic layout solution."
